We need a driver for our little mini bus to take groups out for day trips. No special license is required, only driving experience and a sense of humour!
Facilitate a gentle 30 minute exercise session with our established Recreation group of clients. The groups currently run on a Monday and Thursday 10am to 2pm . We are ideally hoping a volunteer could facilitate a group fitness session between 10.30am and 11.00am at our state of the art Kooyong facility. We will supply the necessary equipment we just need you and your creativity to make this group fun, beneficial and encouraging for our clients to participate in light weight exercise.

Compassionate and enthusiastic people needed for Community Dining Room team. Hartley's Meals has provided free and low-cost meals to the community for over 20 years. We support people experiencing homelessness, economic hardship and social isolation. Hartley's offers lunch on weekdays year-round, and Breakfast from April-September. The dining room has seating for up to 50 customers and has an outdoor courtyard area.
We are in need of an experienced and competent driver of our little van "The Moving Wardrobe" to take clothes out to the homeless during the day and also at nights. If you have a few hours to spare perhaps you will consider becoming one of our team to help out.
The Coordinator will commence as a dog reading team volunteer and after two school terms receive training to take on the Coordinator position. The Coordinator will recruit, train, support, manage and give recognition to volunteers within the region. The position will also raise awareness of the Story Dogs brand and services. This is a non paid, volunteer role. This role requires you to have a suitable dog.

If you have excellent communication skills and a desire to help young people learn and solve problems, you can volunteer at the Craig Family Centre as a Volunteer Homework Tutor. Volunteer Homework Tutors assist school children with their homework. Sessions are held every Wednesday from 4pm-5.30pm during the school term. Ongoing training and support is provided.
