We are on the hunt for volunteers, aged 18+ who want to make a difference to an older person living in an aged care home. By volunteering in an aged care residential facility, you can improve the quality of life for older people who have limited contact with others and as a result are at risk of isolation and loneliness– whether for social or cultural reasons, or due to disability.

You and your dog can help children find the magic in becoming lifelong readers.  The Coordinator will commence as a dog reading team volunteer and after two school terms receive training to take on the Coordinator position. The Coordinator will recruit, train, support, manage and give recognition to volunteers within the region. The position will also raise awareness of the Story Dogs brand and services. This is a non paid, volunteer role. This role requires you to have a suitable dog.
