Are you concerned about the amount of rubbish on our coastline? Adopt a Spot are recruiting volunteers to nominate an area of coastline to manage the removal of marine debris. Tasks will include daily cleans, collation of data (taking pictures of marine debris & reporting back on data via email or social media), disposal of materials in accordance with Local Council rubbish/recycling guidelines and provide community education in sustainable practices.
The Dardanup West Volunteer Bushfire Brigade are a dedicated team of volunteers providing a volunteer fire prevention and suppression service to the Shire of Dardanup. The project seeks to assist with developing confidence in growing and preparing food, with produce being used to support cooking and nutrition sessions as well as supplying fresh produce to CS#1’s food pantry. The garden volunteer will support the project by maintaining the garden and sharing gardening skills and passion with the local community.

Join the 'Friends of Parks' volunteers at Kondalilla Falls National Park and help the local Rangers with a variety of activities that will benefit a much-loved rainforest ecosystem on the Blackall Range. Tasks may include: manual weed removal, maintenance and repairs of the walking track and other infrastructure, revegetation/tree planting, rubbish collection, recording of wildlife sightings, and more.
Join the 'Friends of Currimundi Lake' volunteer group and help the local Rangers control invasive weeds in this small remnant of wallum heath on the Sunshine Coast. Tasks typically include manual weed removal and with the occasional opportunity to assist with revegetation, rubbish collection and minor maintenance of the Heath circuit walking track.
Provide Psychological First Aid to individuals and communities affected by Emergency and disaster events. Provide a listening ear and compassionate care to assist them to recover from the trauma they have been though.
