The Hopewell Centre is currently recruiting volunteers to assist across a number of our programs, including gardeners and entertainers.
We are holding a new fundraiser at the school that will include music, dancing, food and entertainment for the community. The event is a more formal event starting with champagne and canapes while being serenaded by a pianist, moving down to the oval, where parties will be shown to their designated tables while a jazz band plays and dinner is served, finishing off with a rock band and some dancing, all while having games, entertainers and auctions happening throughout.

Toys have an important role to play in a child’s development. They support the development of language, numeracy, fine and gross motor skills, imagination and creativity. Volunteers support library staff by ensuring the toy area is kept organised and tidy, and engage with children and their parents/care givers to help find the right toy.
