Volunteers provide life-changing learning support to students through literacy and numeracy enhancement. This happens alongside the supervision and instruction of the teacher in a classroom setting. Volunteers are not required to teach or provide curriculum content, they are an extra set of hands, eyes, and ears to support the existing teaching.

CCT's Co-Facilitators work with our support group facilitators to provide a supportive environment for our support group clients. This includes basic administrative tasks eg attendance lists and would also be given the opportunity to facilitate the group meetings in the Facilitator's absence if this was something they felt they would like to do. This is a rewarding role for those volunteers willing to give a half day a month. The volunteer roles are based in Devonport, Tas.
