In this role, you will be responsible for introducing adult students from refugee and migrant backgrounds to the world of computers and guiding them through various levels of proficiency - from beginner to intermediate.

Mentoring of young people to complete 50 hours of supervised car driving experience. An automatic RYDE vehicle which is comprehensively insured, maintained and has a fuel card is provided. The RYDE car is based at Geographe Leisure Centre. There is no formal age range of volunteer mentors, as long as you have a current licence, can drive safely and have a good understanding of road rules.

We require volunteers for four hours from 4.00pm to 8.00pm weekdays to supervise women in recovery from substance abuse and domestic violence during the evening shift. Tasks include supervising meals, medication and phone calls, taking craft and journaling sessions, and attending evening meetings. Some light admin duties may be required as well such as drafting the weekly schedule.
