The Mission of Scouting is to contribute to the education of young people, through a value system based on the Scout Promise and Law, to help build a better world where people are self-fulfilled as individuals and play a constructive role in society.

Geraldton Scout Group are looking for Section Leaders to run the Scouting Program each week.

• Support children aged 8-12 in building resilience and regulating emotions
• Assist in facilitating program alongside Ngala staff members
• Opportunity to learn emotional regulation skills and work in community services

• Volunteer to shape youth services and decision-making processes
• Collaborate with local organizations and engage in community outreach
• Ages 16-25, fortnightly meetings, diverse projects, and comprehensive training

• Engage with youth through games, activities, and support
• Lead or support various games, crafts, and themed nights
• Sales handling, tidying up, and flexible shift options available

• Coordinate volunteer shifts and manage roster for youth centre
• Create engaging atmosphere, activities, and theme nights for youth
• Essential to have National Police Clearance and Working With Children Check

• Assist in distributing head lice treatment kits to students
• Apply treatments under the guidance of the P and C
• Provide support and reassurance to students and parents

• Lead tech strategy development and execution
• Improve and manage current tech stack, build new tools
• 3+ years software dev experience, Python/Node.js, cloud services

• Volunteer to engage sick children with play, crafts, and radio
• Commit to one 3-hour shift per week for 12 months
• Training provided in craft, entertainment, and radio announcing

• Manage budgets, expenditures, invoices, and financial records
• Utilize Xero for financial transparency and consistency
• Opportunity for training in Scouts Australia's national program

• Lead and coordinate Scout Group operations and development
• Support volunteers, promote community engagement, ensure safety compliance
• Manage finances, property, and resources for effective youth program

• Help children from refugee families with homework from Prep to Year 12
