AccessCare’s Social Links service is currently recruiting dedicated volunteers. Many of AccessCare’s older clients live alone and can be quite isolated, so this program is intended to help encourage social connections and mental wellbeing. As an invaluable part of this program, you will be paired with an AccessCare client with whom you share similar interests and will regularly spend time with that client doing an activity you both enjoy.

At Raise we know that a mentor can change the course of a young person’s life, helping teenagers to build resilience and feel more hopeful for the future. We recruit and train volunteers from the community to become youth mentors, before matching them with a teenager at a local public high school.

We are focused on creating genuine, long term connections between volunteers and our Leisure Buddy participants. This rewarding requires a minimum commitment of 12 months, and one to two hours per fortnight.
