Do you have a skill or some expertise that young people would benefit from hearing about? Could you show them some life skills that they may not have learned before? Project Youth is always looking for Volunteer Speakers to come in and support young people by providing them with valuable information.
The Volunteer Handyperson will work with staff and support young people to ensure all Project Youth properties and centres are fit for purpose through general maintenance and repairs. They will also have opportunities to connect with young people and support them.
"Port Hacking Open Sailing Club" is looking for a person/s to assist in our galley on race days, Sunday (11am -1pm) from September thru to April (excluding school holidays). We currently have a very experienced galley manager running our kitchen, however he is also an active sailor at the club and needs someone to "mind the shop" while he is busy rigging his boat. The galley sells the normal sports canteen items like drinks, basic hot foods pies sausage rolls and pre-prepared rolls etc.
"Port Hacking Open Sailing Club" is looking for a person to assist our dinghy sailing activities on Port Hacking (south of Sydney) on Sunday afternoons from September thru to April (excluding school holidays). Activities involve assisting our experienced support boat operators during club racing, and if you have a NSW boat licence, operating our SUPPORT BOAT, a 17' centre console fibreglass boat with 70HP outboard.
Do you have great Admin skills? Would you like to help support people who are blind or have low vision to live the life they choose? Then we need you! Vision Australia is a large national provider of services for people who are blind or have low vision. Our Caringbah office is currently seeking Admin Support Volunteers. Duties will include answering the telephone, meeting and greeting clients, reception work and general administrative assistance to our team.
We are seeking 3 new Board Members to join the team at HMS. Experience in any of the following would be highly regarded: law, marketing, PR, finance, business development or the not for profit and disability sector.
Would you like to make a difference in the life of an older person in your community? We are looking for caring individuals who can sit and have a chat, reminisce and talk about topics of interest with elderly people in their own homes.
Do you love to drive and want to help your community? St George Community Transport we are seeking Volunteer Drivers (Car and Bus) to drive our full range of vehicles from Camry sedan to 23 seater bus. We provide $30 a day to our volunteers to cover any out-of-pocket expenses.

Our Volunteers on our Social Outings Trips lend a hand in assisting our clients on and off the buses and to navigate their way around an exhibition, a garden or the theatre. Our outings are many and varied and you will have a great time. We are a friendly team and our drivers work alongside our assistants and carers to ensure we all have a lot of laughs and a lot of fun. We also reimburse our volunteers $30 per day to cover any out-of-pocket expenses.
